Ideally located with just a a few minutes to the the city center. Good amenities, the staff were very polite. Having an apartment was that little bit more convenient than just having a hotel room. I'd definitely recommend staying here if visiting Bordeaux.

The hotel is very good at it is located in the City Center. It offers all the amenities you need as a business man to enjoy your stay.

The only downsize is that it is an IKEA room: clearly lacking some appeal to make you feel like home.

Location : 4,5/5
Cleaness : 5/5
Amenities : 4/5
Breakfast : 3/5 (very expensive for what you get... but starbucks is nearby)

Overall, good hotel but it could be easily improved to be worth more.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and 18 month old son. We had a car and the fact it had its own parking was really convenient, although it's an additional Euro16 per day it's easier than finding public parking nearby and the lift goes right up to your room floor.

The studio rooms were a reasonable size, and have a screen that pulls across so we were able to put our son to bed in a darkened area which was great. The facilities weren't fancy, but were functional and for a city break were fine.

There's a huge supermarket just round the corner, which meant that we could eat in one night and bought croissants etc for breakfast rather than spending the Euro24 for the two of us to have the hotel breakfasts. There is also a Starbucks just a few steps from the hotel for a morning coffee.

There are a few bistros within a few hundred yards, but it's only 15 mins walk right down to the port and there are shops and cafes and restaurants all along the route, so location was brilliant.

Overall although it wasn't a particularly memorable hotel, it's also one I struggle to fault and the price was really reasonable for somewhere in a city centre.

We requested a room at the rear of the hotel and even though the Bordeaux marathon was on we heard almost nothing!

Location location location! Good sized room that was clean with everything working. The checkin was super fast and there are bikes for rent outside so you can cycle to main sight seeing spots. Highly recommend.

We asked for a quiet room facing the yard and we got one. It actually was very quiet for a central location and very clean. We were two adults and one child, so the set-up - double and single sofa bad - was ideal. It might not be as great for three people who aren't family as the apartment is basically one room that can be separated by a folding screen. The apartment had all we needed, even dishwasher tablets. You just have to bring your own instant coffee or tea bags. Staff is very helpful. They also take your luggage if you arrive early or still have some time for a stroll before leaving the city.

The location is great for exploring the city centre. There is a big supermarket in the shopping centre nearby - Meriadeck is a nightmare of ugliness, but Auchan has a fishmonger and the choice is better than elsewhere. Nice cafes and restaurants are not too far away.

There's a bus from the TGV station. We took the tram (C) and changed at Port de Bougogne to line A to Meriadeck. Works very well as long as you don't have too much luggage.

Room Tip: rooms facing the yard are quiet
