Booked H.Inn Express as we were attending a concert at the MEN Arena. The hotel is within walking distance of the Arena, and the Printworks. Checked in by the very pleasant and helpful, Duane. Were given a room on the 7th Floor, which had fantastic views. Room was smallish but absolutely adequate for a weekend break. Bathroom was *sparkling* as per previous H.I. Express hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast was busy, and staff did really well to cope. A few big groups, and a lot of starving "big" lads which seem to need 6 slices of toast each!! A great weekend. Would stay again.

Room Tip: High floor has great views.

I have just spent a night at this hotel and found it be very well located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester's centre. We requested a high floor and was given floor 8, great big ceiling to floor windows over looking central Manchester and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a large shower, a flat screen TV and a sofa. The free breakfast is served between 06.30 & 10.30 (11.30 at weekend) which meant that we could have a lie in. We paid £51 for the room and thought that it was value for money and would recommend to anyone who would like a nice stay in Manchester.

Room Tip: High floor for a floor to ceiling window

If your visiting the Arena and want an overnight stay this hotel is located within walking distance. We got a double room and breakfast for a very reasonable £67. The room was spotless and reasonable size, very modern. Staff very helpful and friendly, the only negative was the breakfast was a bit of a bunfight, the eating area is large enough however you have to get your food from a very small room to the side which became very congested. The breakfast was fine with a choice of hot food, cereals, fruit and pastries.

Thank You for your feedback ,I am really pleased that you found the room to be spotless and the team friendly ,I will certainly pass these comments back to the team

The breakfast serving area is limited at peak periods but we are now at the final stage of adding an additional area that will help with the flow of the breakfast room and will provide more space for all the items

We hope to welcome you back soon

Stayed here for a night in March and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern it was. Really nice bathroom, lovely decor in our room and breakfast was free which was fantastic. The staff were very helpful, fetching an iron to our room within a couple of minutes of our asking. The location is really good for those going to the arena, Northern Quarter or for the shops. The breakfast was basic and limited choice but still a lot nicer than the breakfast at the Hilton Deansgate!

stayed 2 nights here on a sunday/monday.

Excellent location for arndale/printworks. Didnt need to use taxis during our stay. We were able to visit our friend on blackfriar street a few times and found the walk pleasant

Found no problem with the breakfast but then the hotel appeared to be near empty so no queues. Fairly standard but you could eat as much as you wanted and included fruit, yoghurts and cereal.

Room Tip: Would ask for a room with city view they have the bigger floor to ceiling windows. Also might be bet...
