Ok, there’s shops and wotnot. Lots of them. And people. And shops. And homeless people. And people and shops. You get the gist.

A typical busy pedestrianised shopping area. Gets very busy on weekends and bank holidays, and can be difficult to navigate. I usually tent to avoid it.

I love this place. Have been here so many times over the years ! The view I think for me is very good due to the fact that an incredible amount of space has been created for the tram lines. You can just look around and you have this awesome space around you. Be careful though! Trans are really really quiet if my other half didn't pull me back at the last minute, I wouldn't be writing this review!!

I’ve lived in Manchester for 18 years and the area continues to deteriorate. The number of homeless increases, beggars, cart sellers, sales people, religious shouters - the whole street becomes unfriendly and often scary. The council and police need to do more. I would not recommend visit the street on your own. There are a lot of hugger muggers and groups of youths which cause problems. The smell of urine is often strong. It’s a shame as so much could be done but it’s ignored.

I hate having to navigate through here. Not only is it difficult to pass through crowds (whilst carrying a baby) but it's filled with irritation! Buskers, beggars and awful music. Market street is a nightmare and is certain to taint your mood.
