A lovely small restaurant with an intimate feel. As is fashionable the chefs can be see cooking from the dining room.

The food is traditional British but with a modern twist. I, for instance had what was essentially liver and bacon, but it was nothing like any liver and bacon I have ever had before. It was exquisite

Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. The one disappointment was that our first two courses arrived far too quickly. It maybe because we were first in the restaurant and after that we were able to relax. That is the reason for me giving it 4 rather than 5 points.

Prices are reasonable. £50 a head for three courses, coffee, aperitifs. and plenty of wine..

Very cute looking place but interior could do with a rethink. Food was average, steak slightly grizzly and veg a bit dull. Good choice of wine, if slightly pricey and dessert was enjoyable. Service was efficient though lacking a little warmth, and it did feel like we were being hurried out. Not a place to hurry back to sadly.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant and we are so pleased that we did. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, it is very welcoming and cosy and it felt as though we were eating a meal in our own home. The food was very good, my husband was impressed particularly by the Middle Eastern Taster which was as good if not better than any food eaten previously in the Middle Eastern establishments he has been to at home and abroad. The quality of the produce was clearly very high and the food was skilfully prepared. The staff were friendly and professional and that includes the chefs who were working in a partially open kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will return now that we know about it.

We were sat upstairs at the back of the restaurant but we're able to soak up the atmosphere in the restaurant nicely.

The food was tasty and the service was great. The experience enjoyed by the whole family. We would definitely recommend a visit.

The ambience of this lovely restaurant is great, the food - although not the most original menu was beautifully cooked. The lamb was delicious and the cheesecake "to die for".
Recommended, you won't be disappointed!
