Located within walking distance to Piccadilly Station and Piccadilly Gardens.
This was my second stay here, last time was over 2 years ago. Converted from a textile building hence why rooms are different shapes and sizes, great character with exposed cast iron columns and steel beams.
My bedroom this time located at the front of the building which was quite noisy from the road traffic below. Nice huge bed but some of the carpets etc. looked tired, with baggy/ruched up areas. Bathroom was compact with nice toiletries and nice towels including face cloths (a big thing for my wife!).
The evening dining experience was nice, a good menu accompanied with great service from the staff. Breakfast was equally enjoyable with the full English having a slight twist on beans and hash browns.
Front desk was very helpful and friendly at both check in and check out.
Would I stay here again? Yes, due to location, staff and spaces in the rooms. Perhaps I'd eat out rather than in the hotel for choice and price.More
