“Lovely, quirky cottage in centre of town”
Reviewed 3 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Rosary Cottage with my sister and brother and our partners. We had a lovely time, the cottage is cosy and quirky with it's uneven floors but it has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the showers efficient and the kitchen has all mod cons including a dish washer. Thank you Paul for a lovely stay.

“Spacious & quirky”
Reviewed 15 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Stayed here for 3 nights with extended family ( 3 adult couples) of which 1 couple were visiting from Australia. Rosary Cottage was in an excellent position for exploring the beauty of the Cotswold's & local facilities. 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms certainly ticked the box providing each couple privacy. Quality bed linen & towels, modern bathrooms, plenty of hot water & very homely. We spent allot of family time playing games around the large kitchen table. The kitchen was well equipped including washing machine & dishwasher. Lounge areas were good too. No problems with parking. Chipping Camden is a very friendly & picturesque village with several local restaurants & pubs. We had 3 evenings out, including very good curry at the back of one of the pubs, the locals all recommended it, even those in the pubs pubs serving food. Rosary Cottage was having some roof repairs when we were booked to go, the owner had informed us that this had ran over the expected completion date. There was no disruption to our stay however the scaffold did take away the beauty of the cottage as we arrived. If you like old buildings, wobbly floors & low ceilings, but need modern facilities this fit the bill.

“16th century house on the High Street with quality linens and modern baths”
Reviewed 29 January 2016 for a stay in June 2015

I booked this unique and historical cottage on the High Street of Chipping Campden for its proximity to many sights and its generous size for my family of 4. It is a very reasonable price if you compare it to having to rent 2 hotel rooms or more for your family. We toured Hidcote Manor gardens, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Stratford-upon-Avon while staying here for 4 nights. It was nice to have a whole medieval (wow) house to ourselves, full of character (if you or your kids like Harry Potter, you will feel like you are on a movie set). The house is charming. While some of the sitting room furniture downstairs is a bit musty, the upstairs bedrooms are all clean and have designer quality bedding. I have numerous allergies and had no trouble sleeping in the master bedroom. The bathrooms are recently renovated and are very modern. There is a combo washer/dryer in the (least interesting room) kitchen. The kitchen is large, but nothing fancy. There is no dining area other than the large table here. Directly across the street from the house is a small convenience store and a nice French bakery that we used daily. There are many very nice restaurants along the street as well.

I would not recommend renting the house with children younger than 10 for safety concerns associated with the stairway and landing to the bedrooms. It would be very easy for them to fall as the stairs are very old and the landing is most definitely not up to today's safety codes. And of course, if you are over 5'8", you have to mind your head on doorways as the beams are low. This adds to the character, of course!

“Fabulous Cottage”
Reviewed 5 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

What a lovely way to spend a weekend. We arrived at the cottage in the dark and it was such a lovely surprise when we turned on the lights. It was very cosy, clean and tidy. The bedding was exceptional. As we were a group of girls it was great to have all rooms with ensuite. It was a great base to explore.
We will definitely be back.

We stayed here as we were looking for a nice, quiet place in the Cotswolds to enjoy the English countryside. We were not disappointed. The place was absolutely charming and in a great location. Be sure to check out the pub just down the street. There were eight of us (husband, wife, three grown daughters, two sons-in-law and a new three-month old grandson) and we were very comfortable. The home would also work very well for smaller groups. The owner could not have been more accommodating, kind, and professional. Coming from Arizona (USA), this was just the experience we were looking for and would stay here again without hesitation.
