“In full bloom.”
Reviewed 6 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We loved our stay at Rose Cottage. It was the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds.

Less than 50m to walk before you're on the main street. Brilliant.

The roses were in full bloom and the garden was a delight to sit in on an evening.

The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable.

This is a cottage with all the basics provided. Wish I'd have known this before I turned up with, foil, oil, jumbo kitchen roll etc :)

Nyra was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with throughout.

This self-catering cottage is tucked in a close behind the Noel Arms. You can't drive to it from the high street but you are less than 50 yards from the high street by foot. It is a cute little three bedroom, one bath with a front and rear garden and parking space. We stayed a week and loved every minute.

We were met by the owner and shown around. Rose Cottage was immaculate and everything we needed was provided. The furnishings were very attractive and there was plenty of crockery, cutlery etc for a group of five. We will certainly return!

“Beautiful little cottage, ideal location.”

We have just returned from a much-needed weekend break away in Chipping Campden.
This is our first time to The Cotswolds and it exceeded all expectations.
Rose Cottage is perfectly situated within one minutes walk, if that, to the high street where there are newsagents/small supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and sweet little local shops. Nyra, the owner, was really helpful from the date of my first enquiry, through the booking process and the day of arrival and departure. She met us at the cottage and showed us things we needed to know, have us some suggestions on places to visit and then left us to it really! She lives fairly nearby so it was reassuring to know she could come to us if we needed her, but thankfully we didn't!
The cottage itself was well-maintained with all you need for a weekend away. We luckily didn't need the fire but it's a nice bonus to have it in the lounge for colder nights, but the cottage kept the heat in nicely. There was only two of us so for bigger groups I can't really compare, but it's location meant we spent limited time in the cottage as it was nice to explore the town. There's also a car parking space and with other delightful little villages a short drive away, we found ourselves out most of the day.
I would definitely recommend Rose Cottage for a weekend break. We certainly hope to return one day!
