We popped in here on our way back from Devon. Been passed numerous times but never visited before. Beautiful sunny day so we ordered from the bar and sat outside. We had 1 roast and another choice from the menu. Food came promptly. We were pleasantly pleased with our food. It was hot and well presented. The very attentive staff member came and checked mid way through. The final bill was very reasonable too. They were not terribly busy but the atmosphere was pleasant. Would visit again

Dear Valued Customer.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your visit.

Its to often that with the amount of trade we have through our doors, bad reviews always make it on to social media and for your kind words we are very grateful.

We hope you will visit again soon.

Kindest regards

Really saddens me to give this review as every other time we’ve been here we’ve had great service and meals.
Upon our arrival it was busy but nothing out of the ordinary, there were numerous tables to choose from outside so away we went and sat down.
We chose our meals and I went to the bar to place our order, the service at this point was great however, after this point our experience just went downhill.
We waited sometime for our starter to come out, I had halloumi chips which were nice but cold, my wife had the chicken terrine which was ok.
We had 2 roasts, 1 pork and 1 beef... the pork was just fat, hardly any gravy - and none offered meaning our food was dry.. couldn’t eat the Yorkshire pudding as it was just too dry, roast potatoes looked anaemic!
Not one person came and asked us if our meal was ok, when the waitress finally came to take our plates away again she didn’t ask if everything was ok for us my wife had to say that there was no pork just fat - the waitress knew this as actually finished my wife’s sentence before she did! No compassion was shown and for £14 for a roast dinner I’ll be going elsewhere in future! Would think twice about going for a meal here in the future!

An extremely disappointed customer.

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for the time taken to review your visit,

We have now changed the variety of meats on the Sunday menu, as the Belly Pork did cause us a few issues with the style of meat it is.
Our homemade gravy is now served in gravy boats to make sure our clients have as much or as little as they want.

I think on this occasion it was one of the hottest days of the summer, I think team was a little overwhelmed with the heat, management have decided in these situations the team will work smaller shifts to not effect the customer service or food production, our Yorkshires always rise to occasion and roast potatoes are always crispy.

We would love you to come back as soon as possible.

Kind Regards

Stopped on our way from Stratford-on-Avon for lunch. Place was busy but not full. We had to queue for 15 minutes for drinks and again when we decided what we wanted to eat. After 45 minutes still no food so we asked a waitress to check. She came back and said our meal was being "plated". Twenty minutes later still no food. We spoke to a manager, got our money back and left. Can't comment on the food but the service was terrible. A pub in Australia with service like this would not be in business long.

Dear valued customer,

Thank you for taking your time to review us,

The front of house manager who was on shift that day is no longer with this company, this review was the final straw they didn't just let customers down but the whole team down in the unbearable heat on a very busy trade day.

Our business, a 15th century Inn is located with beautiful gardens with outside seating areas, plenty inside dinning and team willing to exceed your expectations. We appreciate all business we receive.

Kindest regards

Had a celebration meal for my father's 90th birthday and some stayed over.
Jack was very efficient and helpful with all of the planning and organisation beforehand.
On the night, Anya and her team were excellent and gave us a truly memorable evening.
The food was excellent; both dinner and breakfast.
The Bredon Room was a perfect setting for the evening meal.
The bedrooms were all clean, spacious and comfortable.
The hotel is close to a busy road, but this did not spoil our enjoyment, and the nearby village of Beckford is a delight.
We would happily return to the Beckford Inn.

Stayed here for two nights whilst at a wedding in a near by village. We had a superior room which was very good. Also peeled into a standard room which was also good although smaller with no sitting area. Rooms very nicely furnished. No bath but a nice walk in shower. Shower configuration wasn’t perfect but in an old building I guess it’s tricky to get it perfect. Breakfast v nice although both mornings we had a find staff - because the stairs nearest to our room didn’t take us into the breakfast room through the bar, I think they didn’t realise we were there. We will certainly come back.
