We stayed here three nights and found the room very nice, and the front desk staff outstanding. We needed copies and print outs, which they were happy to provide - Tracy stood out in her kind assistance even when the front desk was busy. We had an easy stay, and ate at the hotel a couple of nights out of convenience. The food was fine, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, which a nice berry compote, fresh croissants, and excellent hot food. Highly recommendable.

Recent stay as close to work.
Easy to find when coming off motorway, get into right hand lane.
Plenty of parking.
Welcome reception staff were friendly, polite and efficient.
Room was ample size with a comfy, clean bed. I found it quiet and had s good sleep.
However the bathroom is tired and old. The shower was small and had a shower curtain (well known for being hard to clean and germ carrying). The grout between the tiles was also grubby.
Dinner - HIE need to really work on this, or accept defeat. It took as long to come to the table, as it would for the microwave to ping. The fish was dry and tasteless and the side salad wouldn’t have fed a small bunny.
The room didn’t have an ironing board, so you had to collect it from reception yourself.
Breakfast - standard options for HIE, with dry bread, fatty bacon and cold eggs. Tables were de cluttered, but not being wiped down. They also ran out of glasses for the juice. Then no staff around to ask for some.
WiFi was good.
There are some basics that are just not being done right.
Would l stay at this HIE again. NO

Very convenient just off the motorway, our room on the ground floor motorway side was quiet and we slept well even if the air conditioning could have been colder for us, breakfast was adequate, there was a scrum at 7am with a group of oriental people clearing all the fresh food as soon as it came out it was much calmer 40 minutes later so maybe we should have waited.
Friendly staff and nice and clean throughout

We were booked here by mistake as it is 500 metres from the proper Holiday Inn.
No restaurant
Sad looking dark small rooms
Thin scratchy carpets
Cooking a sausage does not involve burning two lines in them
Stodgy scrambled eggs
Cheap bacon
Huge electricity pylon with cables dangling over the roof
Right next to the motorway feels like its inches away
Noise Noise Noise just dont go there

Another pleasant stay with a warm welcome and service with a smile throughout from check in to check out the. Room very clean and a good choice at breakfast which was fresh and appealing.
At check out, thanked for visiting and a genuine-hope to see you again by Andrea and Terence. Thanks to the night reception lady whose name I have forgotten sorry
