We visited here after passing and thought it looked really nice. We had two coffees and my husband had a stilton and bacon sandwich with chips.
He said he would give it 10/10 and the chips looked homemade not even greasy like most places. The sandwich looked very fresh and the bread thick.
The prices are very reasonable.
The owner was very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere with a mixture of people including families with a little one like us.
I’d totally visit again and would recommend to anyone.
It’s nice to see an independent place which does lovely food and drink.

This is a stylish bar which is tucked away in the shopping arcade.
To start we had the Pork Belly Bites and Welsh Rarebit which were both excellent. For main we shared the Mac and Jack and Rib of Beef which were both good sized portions and we had no room for a dessert when we finished.
To drink there is a good selection of aleas from local breweries such as Tonbridge and Powderkeg and the house red wine was very good as was my wife's Rhubarb Bellini.
We were excellently looked after by Emily and the whole night cost just £55 including all our drinks.
The only slight downside is going upstairs to use the arcade toilet but it gave you a chance to walk off the food.
All in all a good night out !

Visited here for lunch with my family and 2 children.

Food was lovely and lots of varied ciders and draft beer to choose from.

Staff were very friendly.

It wasn't packed which was great because we didn't feel we had to leave so soon.

Will be visiting again for lunch and a drink in the evening!

The only reason why I haven't given it 5 stars, is just because there is always room for improvement!

Thank you

We had lunch here on Saturday, the new chicken burger was delicious with sweet potato fries and homemade coleslaw. Its great now you can choose your sides to add to your burger. My son had a beef burger and said it was delicious. My daughter had a slider kids burgers and milkshake, and enjoyed all. Will definetly be back.

Menu is poor for vegetarians, all cheese related. You need to use public toilets in the shopping area as none in the restaurant. It was too cold in the bar/restaurant to be enjoyable, needed a coat during the meal. Wouldn't recommend this place.
