This lovely cafe is part of the Camphill Community Complex which helps give adults with learning difficulties a purpose in life.
Nice bright pleasant atmosphere with excellent attentive staff who, despite their learning difficulties, provide a smashing service.
We had the most delightfully tasty latte backed up by a range of pastries, scones and teacakes which were all produced in the in house bakery.
A great couple of hours with friends in a gem of a cafe.

Went for lunch today. It was very busy today and very loud. The tables are very close together which makes it hard to get around. The service was amazing our waitress was lovely the food was good. I do like the fact they have waiters and waitress with all different abilities.

Located within the Camphill Community, this charity cafe is well worth a visit. Not only is the food of an excellent quality but the feelgood factor you get by using the facilities and supporting the charity makes it all worthwhile.
Staffed by residents and their helpers, the team go out of their way to provide a service which encourages you to return.
A fairly simple menu is available and when we were there, the leek and sweet potato soup which we ordered was absolutely delicious, served piping hot and with the most fantastic bread.
If you do decide to use it, please be aware, the service may not be the quickest you will have experienced but the willingness of the residents who staff the cafe to do a good job can't be hurried and their friendliness is exactly what you would like from any catering outlet but frequently is missing.
Without a doubt, I will be back to enjoy a meal in the Camphill Cafe in the not too distant future.

Unfortunately my visit last year was after lunch had finished being served so I didn't actually get to try any food.

However this week I've made up for it with 2 visits in 2 days! It's a lovely airy warm restaurant with lovely volunteers who are only too pleased to seat you and take your order. I can highly rate the very big and sumptuous sultana scone warmed through and served with preserve and clotted cream. A good pot of breakfast tea to accompany it.

The second visit consisted of my friend having the cream tea and she was very impressed. I opted for the jacket potato with extras of cheese and coleslaw and served with a very nice colourful and crunchy salad. The specials board changes daily and the food is all fresh. You can also reserve a table.

It's close to the Grand Union canal and Willen lake so ideal and popular with walkers.

This is a veggie/vegan café-cum-restaurant set in a community for adults with learning difficulties, and the staff in the café is made up from a diverse mix of people. It's a great idea, and a wonderful surprise if you've never been there. the food is excellent and the staff friendly and very obliging. The building is modern and has a great atmosphere. It was a grey day today, but in nicer weather you can sit outside and enjoy the peaceful setting. It's very reasonably priced and I would recommend it to anyone, whether a lone diner or a larger group. Great experience - thanks!
