The poor waiter seemed rushed off his feet tonight so I guess a colleague has let him down but his service was friendly and efficient. My meal was a beef, chorizo and cheese sandwich in a tomato sauce with an egg, and my friend had chicken and asparagus with rice. Bloody lovely.

Why this restaurant is ranked 5th in Cawley is beyond me. We ordered the tapas which was greasy and didn’t taste fresh. The meatballs were tough as old boots and the potatas braves were soggy (hard to get this wrong). My friend ordered the whitebait which I don’t eat and she said it was like it had been hanging around in the fryer.

We were the only people in the restaurant from 6.30pm until 8.00pm when two more sets of couples arrived.

Suffice to say there are far better restaurants in Crawley!
