Overnight stay on business. Lovely spacious room with hugely comfortable bed. Well equipped, including bathrobes, slippers, ironing board, etc and good sized en-suite with nice quality toiletries. Free wifi. Easy access to town and other amenities. Had evening meal in hotel and it was served with excellent attention to detail and by friendly staff. Breakfast was included both hot and cold choices and a very good variety for both. Negative was the cost of overnight parking which may affect whether my company sends me here again. Surprising - complimentary water and bottled water with dinner was not Harrogate Water - thought this is something Harrogate was famous for so why not promote it in the hotel?

Wow. Loved this place. Really beautifully refurbished hotel. Stayed on the 8th floor (club rooms) really lovely room. Massive bed for 1! Bathroom looks like they could have spent a bit more time doing it up but I was still fine.
Be great when they get the club lounge sorted. Bit of an odd route to the restaurant but shows that they have great conference facilities!
Breakfast was good. Staff very good throughout.
Nice bar downstairs. Great parking facilities and a 5 min walk to the centre.
Would recommend to all and will definitely return with the Mrs and kids.
Go. Enjoy.

I stayed here several times when it was a Holiday Inn, and was back in Harrogate on Tuesday to find it has been upgraded to a Crowne Plaza.
The lobby has been refurbished and looks excellent, as does the bar which is a very cosy place for a drink in the evening, with a terrace if it's warm.
My 6th floor room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was massive and very comfortable- they also provide sleep therapy ointment and spray which was a novel idea- can't say i noticed any difference though!
I ate there in the evening and the food was really good, breakfast is great too.
Location wise it's a 5 minute walk into town and connected to the HIC by walkway.
I'd say i hope to be back soon, but i need not hope as I'll be staying again in a couple of days- that should be recommendation enough!

Just upgraded from a holiday in and nicely done too. Didnt eat in for dinner as there are so many places to eat in Harrogate. Breakfast was good and plentiful. My usual gripe about additional car park charges when you have to park there anyway.

Thank you for feedback, I am pleased you like the refurbishment changes and your visit overall. The discounted fee for our secure undercover car park is the norm for town/city hotels. Some prefer to hide it in the room rate, but we choose to remain transparent.

Nicolas

Really liked our stay at the crowns Plaza. The hotel is well laid out the decor is stylish and modern. The staff are well trained and very polite. Our double bed was huge and very comfortable. Excellent location for the centre.the breakfast was good quality with plenty to choose from. The bar is spacious and reasonably priced. Will use again.
