Myself and my partner have eaten here twice in the past 2 months and we haven’t been able to fault it at all, the staff are so friendly, lovely atmosphere, absolutely gorgeous food and it’s very clean! We eat out in different pubs and restaraunts on a regular basis but this is by far the best place we have ever eaten, and considering we enjoy completely different food, the food here suits us both which is fab! Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re looking for real home cooked food that tastes amazing. There’s also a lovely range of flavoured gin which always goes down a treat! We will be returning! 5*

Always enjoy the Sunday lunch here, reasonably priced and excellent value, whilst relaxing in front of the log fire after a good autumn walk along the cinder track! Perfect!

Our 2nd visit to this pub and food was just as good as the first time around. Plentiful, home-cooked portions and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

An excellent walk up the cinder track so a nice beer and some good food was required, and this pub provided both.

The roast beef was plentiful with a good serving of veg and potatoes.

Friendly and efficient service
