Great venue for large parties. Plenty of bedrooms/ bathrooms plus a very well designed kitchen. Games room downstairs and located in the middle of the village so plenty of shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend if looking for somewhere to stay in north Wales!
This venue is as described; 5 mins from the beach, good sized kitchen with all the necessary stuff to cater for 50, plenty of bedrooms with a variety of sleeping set ups, good selection of entertainment in the lounge, exciting party and games room downstairs. We had 50 guests mid 20s to late 30s.
Friday night had a meal and drinks, Saturday day went to the beach, Saturday night had a party in the party room, Sunday relaxed in the lounge, Monday went to a very good Chinese restaurant in Llandudno called Tops. Tuesday, packed up and drove home after a great weekend.
A great location. The village has a wonderful artisan bakery, a handful of restaurants, tea rooms and a well stocked Spar. The beach at low/mid tide is great.
Mountain View is spacious (in the extreme), has a modern well equipped kitchen. Masses of crockery and cutlery are provided. The dining area is excellent, and conducive to conversation rather than staring at smart 'phones etc!
No one in their right mind would expect accommodation of this size to be without minor faults. Anything major that is reported to the managers is however fixed as soon as humanly possible.
In short this is an absolutely great place for large parties to stay, the 25 plus of us all had a great week there.
19 stayed in Mountain View from 4th 8th June. The accommodation was excellent, versatile, clean & comfortable. The kitchen was thoughtfully planned & well resourced. The quality of crockery & kitchen ware was more than adequate.
Well done on planning the place so thoughtfully to ensure comfort & convenience.
Our group loved exploring the locality, particularly the closeness to the sea front,
the shops & the charity & antique shops provided good bargains.
UNFORTUNATELY one of our group left her bus pass in Room 5 either under the matress or in a drawer. She broke her big toe on the beach and I spent the whole of the 8th June in Bangor hospital with her. She was so distressed & in pain that she forgot to pick up her bus pass. Her name is Farzanch Sahnaz. Could you please put it in an envelope & send it to Eleanor Dalton 9 Harbreck Grove Liverpool L9 6GB Sorry for the inconvenience this will cause but these things happen. Thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mountain veiw. The lacation was fab with just a stroll to the beach and was right in the town with lots of little shops.
The facilities were ace. They had everything we could possibly need. From baby gates to tea towels we were fully catered for!! There were nearly 50 of us staying, babys, kids, teens, adults and oldies and everyone of us loved it.
The space was good with plenty of big rooms. And most with en-suites. It was clean, tidy and smelt nice.
I cannot thank Mark enough for his quick response to my million and one questions. Great place. Great guy! Thanks again Mark!
