“Great place for a get away do nothing holiday”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

About a 10 minute walk uphill from Penmaenmawr so a car is needed but take care on the aproach road as it could do with a resurface. We stayed in Ash Cottage which is huge compared to some cottages we have stayed in. I would say the small bedroom with the bunk beds was a little small for a grown up but all other rooms fine. Apart from the wi-fi being a bit intermittant everything else was perfect. We will be going back in the not too distant future.

“Super Clean”
Reviewed 21 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Had a peaceful stay in Oak Cottage in June 2015. All rooms very clean and as if brand new with quality furniture. Huw (the owner) really helpful and on hand to help with any crisis - a really nice chap with excellent customer service skills.

The cottage is on a very steep hill and therefore isn't really suitable for a quick wander about. The village shops are poor and access to the beach (next to the A55) is through an undesirable underpass. Not a beach goers resort.

However, views were great from the lovely decking area of the cottage, overlooking fields with mountains to the side and a sea view (through the trees). Really peaceful and relaxing. A lovely aura to the place.

Only thing to add to the wish list would be a small welcome pack (bread/milk etc).

“Perfect getaway location”

Stayed here with friends who had rented Willow Cottage. What a superb house, everything about it is class - the decor, fittings, facilities - a perfect location for a break. Look out the front window and see the sea, out the back to the Snowdonia foothills. Perfect base for sightseeing, walking or just relaxing. Highly recommended.

“The Best of North Wales”

Graiglwyd Springs is on its own private landscape which backs on to a lake and the mountains. Graiglwyd is in a lovely village of Penmaenmawr which has been restored to some of its Victorian glory. The beach is close by and overlooks Puffin Island and the Isle of Anglesey. Conwy castle is only a few miles away. You can walk straight out of your cottage and be on the North Wales Coastal path that takes you to the Carneddau part of Snowdonia and it's National Park.... This truly was a beautiful modern cottage holiday which gave us all plenty of space with all the mod-cons and everything on our doorstep. A car is needed to fully appreciate this gorgeous part of Snowdonia. The cottage was prestine clean and the owners are really lovely and accomodating.
