This place has very high reviews and I'm not sure why. To me it seems like very typical building. The stained window is beautiful but I don't think it's 5 or even 4-star worthy. Just a nice basic church.

When you arrive in Wexford, the towers of the Twin Churches are very good to be seen! When you see the outside it is just an ordinary church. But when you get in inside it is a big surprise. You have to visit!!

A must see if you visit Wexford the stained glass is superb and the visit during a mass with a choir will show off the acoustics of the churches, they are excellent especially the Assumption.

We did see both churches from the outside and they are quite similar. We attended Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception. The church is beautiful in the style of churches of that period (mid 1800s). The stain glass windows are beautiful, and the music as it so happened was familiar, there was a sense of peace and comfort attending service inside.

The Twin Churches of Wexford town are always beautiful places to visit. Both of the Churches have very different characters inside. The Church of the Assumption, Bride Street has the Convent of Perpetual Adoration attached and there is Eucharistic Adoration all day and night.
The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rowe Street is beautiful also and has a wonderful statue of St. Therese of Lisieux.
Highly recommend to visit both.
