Lovely cottage in the quietest possible surroundings.
Very clean and well equipped, ideal base for exploring Hook Head and the surrounding area.
In terms of constructive feedback; some more fire fuel would be great for outside of Summer.
Cottage was set in country that was a little tricky finding first time as Irish roads are not easy to find sometimes. Want to go in daytime first time there as it has narrow lane to cottage the last mile and would be hard to find at nite if you hadn't been there before.. Was very nice cottage with all you need for extended stay , just bring your food and your set . Host was very helpful and friendly and even a pet welcome comes with a stay as there dog is very sweet and likes to walk with you if you desire to go for one. TV could use a couple American channels with news or sports as all the channels we got were foreign even to Ireland besides the Irish channels. Really enjoyed our stay there as host was very helpful to our needs.
We're just back from the cottage. Stayed in "Uncle Tom's Barn" which was ideal for our family of 5 (the youngest still shares a bed). The welcome was warm from our host Georgina and the cottage is well equipped and there is even a small outside play area with a swing/slide which was a perfect distraction for the kids whilst we sorted breakfast each day.
The cottage is quite remote yet perfectly situated to explore the wonders of Waterford City, the wilds of Hook Head or the fun at Tramore.
Could not recommend it enough!
