The hotel is very close to town centre. It has a good free parking just aside. The staff was kind. Our room was OK, even if not very big; the bathroom was OK, but both were not clean (hair in the bed and in the washbasin). The TV was crooked and it was not possible to straighten. We decided not to have breakfast (extra) since too expensive with respect to average. Wifi did not function well.

This hotel is well located in Sligo town and easy to get to. Unfortunately it has seen better days and is a bit scruffy. The decor of my room and the hotel was dated and some maintenance was needed. Where maintenance had been done it was not too a high standard (e.g. Roughly filled holes around radiator pipes). The bed was very, very soft and the door had a gap under so noise from corridor was loud therefore I slept very poorly. Breakfast was of below average quality. Wifi was variable, sometimes it worked, others it didn't.

Overall the quality did not justify the price tag.

This hotel was quite nice, the receptionist as well as staff have been very helpful and had given good service.
However this hotel does need to focus more upon it's presentation in regarding some of the hotel rooms as the room given to myself and my partner was quite plain and had a very old design with a damp look.
The view that we were given was appalling with a complementary view of rusted pots presumably on a roof, you could see the delivery vans at the back of the hotel with workers making noise with crates of glass bottles along with chatting, personally as an individual on holidays this is not what I expect to see or hear when I look out my room that I have paid good money for.
The shower did not have hot water at all and had a broken hair-drier.
The hotel is close to town and the bar downstairs is wonderful, also the lobby area is very tasty and cosy.
This hotel is quite nice overall only my room did not give the hotel any justice it deserves unfortunately.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a decent enough view

We had two rooms for 4 nights including breakfast. Probably too long a stay for a hotel that could do with a makeover. One morning we had no hot water and breakfast on another morning was lacking organisation. Reception staff were hit and miss depending on how busy they were. Would probably be fine for one or two nights if you know what to expect as the location is convenient. Price was on the highside for the quality experienced

Just back from a 2 night stay stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location beside the bus and train station and within walking distance of the shops, bars and restaurants. I didn't eat in the hotel at any stage so cannot comment on the quality of the food. The room we stayed in was fab. Looks like it has been recently refurbished. Fabulous big bathroom with corner bath and wet room style shower. The beds are very comfy and the hotel is quiet at night. Our room was very spacious. Flat screen TV provided and ironing board and iron if you needed to use them. Good Tea and coffee making facilities. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western and would have no hesitation in returning again. Thank you.
