The Boulevard Guesthouse was a delightful stop on our tour of Ireland. With ten foot ceilings, tall windows, and heart-pine floors, the beautiful, spacious rooms in this historic old building, beside the canal, were just the best. Breakfast, a hearty Irish meal of your choice, is in a lovely dining room. Best of all were the warm smiles and friendly faces of Sadie and Noreen, our hosts, who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They provided excellent advice about a restaurant, J.J. O'Malleys, upstairs, Croagh Patrick (St. Patrick's Mountain), and The Coffin Ship, a memorial to famine victims. We stayed in many B&B's on our tour of Ireland and none were better than The Boulevard Guesthouse.
