We stayed here as a weekend package. Being from Cork, we've done all the typical weekends away on Killarney, Kilkenny, Dublin etc. We had never thought of Limerick as a destination for a weekend break but we were so happy we did this time. The hotel staff and facilities were absolutely faultless. Everyone did their best to help. We parked in the car park on arrival and on the Saturday took a trip to the Cliffs of Moher. When we returned to the hotel there were no spaces left so we had to park on the street. That is the only slight drawback to this hotel; the lack of dedicated spaces for guests in the car park. Apart from that every thing else was excellent and are already contemplating a return visit to this wonderful hotel and welcoming people.

We stayed on a Friday for the Winter Warmer offer of €110 for bed & breakfast and meal with bottle of wine. From the minute we entered hotel, the staff were lovely and sound and welcoming. The room was gorgeous. We had a river view and it just felt so mod and clean and lit lovely. Really 5 star room. The meal was the best I've had in along time. Really fresh crispy salad and wine perfect temperature. I had lamb (for an extra €3 supplement) and it fell off the bone. It was so good. My husband had steak (extra €5 supplement) and he wanted it medium and it was perfectly juicey. He thought it was really good... The food was 5 stars definately.. We had been told there could be noise as they had a party function on and it was great to have been told this in reception when we arrived, however, we heard nothing.. (then again we've 4 kids so were whacked out with exhaustion)... The bar was great, just off the restaurant and we had a few drinks before retiring to our room... A most enjoyable and welcoming hotel.. We will 100% go back.

Room Tip: We stayed in 228 (river view) and this was really nice.

The Absolute was a lovely hotel, spacious rooms and quiet too. The hotel has plenty of amenities with a sauna and spa. The staff were really lovely and looked after us so well. I would thoroughly recommend if staying in Limerick. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would go again if done for another shopping excursion

Room Tip: We stayed in a Double standard room.

I found this Hotel to be everything I want in a Hotel! reasonably priced, friendly and comfortable!
The food was top notch with great prices! (only downfall was the breakfast! too pricey not enough selection)

The room was modern, comfy and very clean!

Staff were extremely friendly & genuine!

would recommend it to anyone looking for two days of relaxation and I was here for training for work!
