As it was our second time in Kilkenny, we knew we had to spend the evening in Kyteler's as we had such a good time there previously. This time we thought we would have dinner there and stay on for drinks and the music after.

Although the drinks and entertainment definitely received top marks yet again (especially the Guinness!!), the food fell short of our expectations.

Good selection on the menu and I liked how it had a history of the pub on the side. However the food itself was only average. Typical pub grub but nothing special. It would definitely do if you were stuck for a bite to eat but I wouldn't hold out high expectations.

With great service and fairly priced for the meal, I can't complain. Especially as the rest of the night definitely made up for it!

Popped in for some cheap and cheerful grub on a sat evening but the quality of food was awful as was the service to be honest. Lovely setting, good atmosphere and a grand pint but the food is a no no. Ordered fish and chips and it was in front of me in less than a minute! Aside from that it was below par in every way. Far far nicer places in kilkenny to grab some pub food.

We stopped by for a drink on a Sunday afternoon. The main bar was really great. Traditional pub. Be warned, this is a Manchester United Football pub. We were lucky enough to be there during a match and it was a lot of fun. It was suggested we go upstairs to hear the Irish Music so we did. We weren't impressed with the room, the layout or the music. There is also a garden room, but we never made it there.

I enjoyed my meal in Kyteler's Inn recently. It is a very busy spot for socializing. A great atmosphere. I sat done at the end of the bar near a window looking down on the street below.
