“Simply outstanding”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

I had the pleasure of dining at Cassidy's while in Tralee recently. The prawn fettuccine was just to die for, the nicest pasta meal I think I have ever had. Terrific service, wonderful atmosphere .... I cannot say enough good things about this place.

“Get better tables”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

We dined here on April 11th 2012. The food was very good. The service a bit tardy. but what spoiled everything was that they decided to "divide" the table we had chosen because it was for four. the result was a quite unacceptable size for dinner for two. The odd table was NEVER used. Two other tables for four were emptied before we had even completed our first course. This actually spoiled out meal. there were no reservations shown and they had an empty upstairs room suitable for about 40 covers. Unless they can sort temselves out on this issue, they will not see us, or our friends, again

“Food excellent, but service rather slow”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

I dined in Cassidy's last night as part of a Credit Union dinner party, which was due to start at 8 p.m. Allowing for late arrivals, a half past eight start might have been expected, but it was after nine p.m. before we finally received our starters. There was then another significant lull before the main courses arrived around 10 p.m., firstly green vegetables being provided before the dinner, and no potato dishes for another ten minutes afterwards. The desserts were ordered and arrived after eleven p.m., but without the complementary coffee. I am to no degree criticising the chefs, as my pate starter, sea bass and chocolate mud cake were all excellently prepared, but the standard of service left much to be desired.
