My wife visited Killarney in early August during a week and a half long visit of Ireland. It was a Wednesday night, around 7:45pm, and places to eat were filling up fast. As we stepped inside the restaurant portion - we could see there was no room for even two more people.
They kindly suggested the connecting pub - with the same menu. It was only luck that a couple was leaving at the same time we need a table, but it was perfect. This place seemed to be packed with both locals and tourists. It felt authentic, and added to our love of this quaint little town.
We started with a cup of the seafood chowder and soda bread, and then both opted to get the fish n chips...at least one while in Ireland. Everything was really good, and the service was great - even with how busy they were.
