My wife and I visited Ireland for our honeymoon and one of the places we will remember most fondly was Marless House and Galway. The hostess Mary was delightful with many enjoyable stories and great recommendations and maps. The rooms are clean and homely and the breakfast was a fantastic treat in Irish hospitality. We would truly recommend it to anyone exploring Galway and surrounds.

Mary and Tom are the most gracious hosts....rooms were beautiful, beds extremely comfortable, Mary’s home-cooked Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and Mary always made sure we knew exactly where we were going!

Where do I begin ... Mary is incredible. There is never anything too small or too large for her to lend you a hand. She will give you valuable unsolicited advice, insights and anything else you want to know about the local area or Ireland in general. She is a two-legged Wikipedia. The house is "home". It is so warm and inviting. The rooms are very comfortable. The food is incredible ... best French Toast I have ever had ... Tom is such a wonderful man. Despite having very painful back surgery, he still managed to lend Mary a hand, and he always had a smile on his face when he interacted with the guests. They are such sweet and genuine people, I could never imagine staying anywhere else. We LOVED Marless House, and we loved Mary and Tom! Do yourself a favor and book a few nights here ... you'll be glad you did. If I could give this location "6 Stars", I would!

Words cannot describe how nice Mary treated all the guests. The only word to truly describe her is AMAZING. She's a one woman work-machine. From the hand drawn map to ensure we saw all the key sites to the 5 star breakfast. We can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Can't go wrong at all!

Treated like royalty, felt like home. Beautiful home, delicious food, great location. Near bus line. Mary is a goddess! Each room decorated with style and a personal touch. One block from Galway bay.
