The House Hotel was very comfortable with spacious, clean rooms. Steps away from Quay Street and a short 10 minute walk to the bus/train station, the location could not have been better. I brought my mom here for a surprise birthday trip and met up with my friend and her family, who also stayed out the House Hotel with their 8 month old son. The staff was so accommodating, the lobby was full of friendly travelers and the bar stayed open late. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Also their Irish Coffee is not to be missed.

Room Tip: The deluxe twin was double the size of a standard room and great for 2 friends looking to stay together with their own beds.

Stayed in this hotel for a hen party last night and found it perfectly suited to the occasion. Location was perfect, food was a good standard and the decor was modern, however the shower tray in our bathroom needed cleaning. Beds were very comfortable. Reception staff were friendly, however our room service tray sat outside or room for nearly two hours after we rang to have it collected which looked unsightly! Pancakes at breakfast were lovely and server Ciaran was pleasant. Would recommend this hotel for parties and large groups.

This hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Galway city. The rooms were decent size and very comfortable.

There was complimentary water in the rooms which was welcomed. We had a few drinks in the bar which was well stocked. The breakfast was lovely and had the nicest brown soda bread

The staff at reception were very helpful and even printed some maps for us to help us on the next part of our journey.

We would highly recommend The House Hotel and look forward to returning l.

This was a boom time baby and it was on the cutting edge at the time of the boutique hotel movement. I had stayed too many times back then and returned recently and I am delighted with what has been done with the place... delighted the stainless steel counter is gone and the bar is opened up. It's an epic location for exploring galway city. You can stroll from the bar in the hotel to the heart of the action in galway city in 30 steps. EPIC SPOT... I MISSED YOU...p.s. it's worth paying for the better rooms

The House Hotel is a modern, clean, bright, excellent place to stay in the heart of Galway. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast came with our package, and it was very good - we could have whatever we wanted and there was lots of selection. The House Hotel is located close to lots of pubs, restaurants and sites in the city centre. It's a very energy-efficient hotel, too, with automatic lights in the corridors.

Room Tip: We upgraded so we could get a bathtub, and it was inexpensive
