Stayed here for two nights recently. The room was very clean, small but had a lovely bed. Noticed a few things that let the place down. These included, loose fittings in the bathroom and the sink and toilet were installed carelessly both sloping to one side. Had dinner in the bar the first night which was nice but we were not offered water for our meal, otherwise the service was sufficient. The staff were not overly friendly, but they did their jobs.
The location was fine, easy to find and has a bus outside which goes directly to the city centre.
There were multiple sets of doors in the corridors on the way to the room. we assumed this was for sound proofing but they were stiff and awkward to get through if you have luggage.
Overall our stay was fine considering the price but we won't be rushing back.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you for submitting your recent trip advisor review. We were delighted to read that you were happy with the cleanliness of your hotel room and we do wish to apologise for the loose fittings in the bathroom and the sufficient service in our bar area. We thank you for bringing these items to our attention and please rest assured that we are looking to immediately rectify both issues. In our opinion sufficent service is just not good enough as we endeavour at all times to meet with and exceed guest expectations in relation to the customer service that we provide. I do hope that you will allow us the opportunity to be of service to you again in the future and please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance to you.

Made a simple complaint about the prices and was met with hostility and found the staff talking about my complaint in a negative manner. All in all they did not take my complaint seriously and did not care.

Thank you for your recent review of Flannery's Hotel Galway. I have spoken with the members of staff on duty with regards to this complaint. Please be assured that the manager did take the issue seriously in relation to the factors surrounding pricing.
I have been informed that the matter was in regards to the price of a bottle of coke which you consumed in our bar. As the manager on duty explained to you on the day there is a difference in price from an outsourced vending machine company compared to that of a standard hotel bar. This is prevalent throughout the country.

I hope you understand and if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Wishes,
Aishling Carey,
Guest Relations Manager.

Flannery's Hotel Restaurant is fantastic. Was there with a large family group for a full four-course meal. Great menu selection, lovely portion sizes, super helpful staff. Lovely ambience in the restaurant, beautiful tablelinen, glassware, very competitive, etc. All located on groundfloor, fully wheelchair accessible.
