The hotel was quite convenient to the bus station where we had arrived from Shannon. I checked ahead to ensure there was an elevator since our luggage was heavy. However, I never thought we would be booked on the 4th floor where the elevator ended and then have to climb another flight of stairs, luggage in tow, to one of only two rooms on the “5th” floor.
Since there was no ac, we had to leave our windows open which would have been fine except for the noise from an apparent music festival in the square which was still blaring after 2AM.
Our friends staying on the 2nd floor were disturbed all night long by folks running up and down the halls beating on doors.
Not really what we expected.
The decor is nice, very European and probably recently redone. Renovations seemed to be ongoing.
Staff ok but not helpful.More
