If you walk both piers, this makes a decent walk. There were a lot of people doing the same. Beautiful day and a beautiful harbour.

I really loved this pier. Great view, quite place, fantastic ice cream ať the very end. Good for dates, families with kids but also just for a nice little walk on your own.

The Dun Laoghaire Harbour is a great place for strolling and an ice cream, if the weather permits. Great views of the water and buildings in the far distance. We had a hotel room with a balcony that looked out upon it and it was so very pleasant to sit out there a look out upon the water. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular and will be in our memories for a long, long time.

We have done both walks and it's great to see locals and visitors striding out in the fresh air and enjoying the sea views, we still miss the ferries that used to sail in from Holyhead, Dublin port can't compare to the beauty of Dun Laoghaire.
