We stopped here for dinner on our last night in Dublin. It’s good we had a reservation because it was really busy on a Wednesday night. We sat upstairs which is quite lovely. The service seemed a little rushed, probably because they wanted to turn the table over. The food was good and nicely presented. There was a live show downstairs. Upstairs was a little quieter and tables were mostly nicely spaced. It’s good for a special occasion, not cheap at about 50€ per person including tip and drinks.

We ate here for the first time in the first week of September and had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were delicious, exactly up to the standard you would expect in such a grand venue. The live traditional music and dancing performances were fun to watch as well! Service was very slow and disorganized on the balcony, they may have been short-staffed for some reason. Wish we lived closer, we would definitely go again!

Great lunch, would have lived eating supper here but just did not have the time. The building is beautiful so happy the they could reinvent the Church rather than taking it down. Love doing the self guided tour.

The place is definitely worth a visit, with its history, architecture and the wonderful transition they've created from what it once was. The food was average at best and a bit overpriced and the service was mediocre at best! We went for lunch and it was fairly busy. Once we were seated and our orders dropped off, we had to chase down our server for our bill as we hadn't seen him again since! No offers for more drinks or to see how our meals were. Once is definitely enough!

This is quite a spectacular place upstairs, it is an old converted church and is really hussley bussley upstairs. I feel like we didn't really get the full experience though as we were seated downstairs in a cellar area. Don't get me wrong, it was done out very well and was still an experience but it did feel a bit out of the way of everything that was going on upstairs in the main area. The food (i think it is a different menu in the cellar to upstairs), was just pub grub. Big portion and ok for pub food but not exactly a great culinary experience.
