After a fun 3 hours with Eoin in the midday , we decided to do the Dublin Pub Tour with Eoin in the evening. We visited 4 pubs, a pub with micro brews , a pub focusing on Guinness , a pub serving Gin and tonics Irish Whiskey , and a pub with Irish music. All were well organized and would be repeated next time I return to Dublin. It’s a great way to get oriented in a new city. Our guide kept the group lively, encouraging making new friends. At each stop he discussed pub life along with history of each drink. After a no host dinner on the 3rd stop, we sampled a 12 yr old Irish single malt Again Eoin entertained us with history and lore of the drink at hand. Not strictly a pub crawl , we learned about the the British influences on the empire. This was well worth the 20 Eoin cover charge

Peace in our time

Great walking tour today led by the hilarious Eoin. Very informative but with a nice touch of humour and fun.

We did a tour with James today, although it was very cold, he told us so many interesting things, we forgot about the weather. It’s totally worth it

I took the South Side tour with James and it was an amazing experience! He was so knowledgeable about the city and its history and took us around some notable sites. He was a great and funny storyteller and made the tour very fun. If you're visiting Dublin for a few days, I would recommend doing this in the beginning to orient yourself and get a feel for the city. I was a solo traveler and met a bunch of cool people on the tour, one which I'm friends with now! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin.

We enjoyed the free walking tour. The North side of the city is probably an area we wouldn't have explored ourselves otherwise. James (our tour guide) had good energy, sense of humour and was loud enough for all to hear... The tour was educational, we enjoyed learning a lot more about the politics of Dublin/Ireland. Thanks James! - We joined the pub tour in the evening too which was brilliant fun!! haha A great way to meet new people and to experience more of the local pub culture away from all the touristy areas (P.S. James hope you got your brolly and hat back?) :D 'Claire from London'
