If it's historical you're after then this is perfect. The guide was lovely and genuinely into his subject. We would have preferred less information on a few more sights for our 2 hours but that is just a preference thing and not a slight against this well organised and well delivered tour. Would reccomend to my parents if not my mates!

“Excellent - informative, engaging and would highly recommend!”

I thoroughly enjoyed the Historical Walking Tour of Dublin yesterday. The friendly tour guide, Tommy, was knowledgeable, engaging and he brought the past to life as we stopped at a number of key attractions in the city. His sense of humour and detailed knowledge of Irish history and politics made the tour topical as well as interesting. I would say this tour is a must for any visitors to the city!

“Thoroughly engaging and informative tour”

My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble across this tour of Dublin and Ireland's history. Peter, our entertaining and illuminating guide, took us through Ireland's history in two hours from the Vikings to the present day, with lots of funny and moving stories. The walk wasn't a long one but covered a number of key spots. The tour felt accessible; pitched just right for our group which included a mixture of understanding of all things Irish. Peter was really happy to take questions and even recommended a great place for lunch afterwards. Couldn't recommend this tour enough; wish we'd done this on our first day in the city. Massively good value too. In winter the tour starts at 11am on a fri, sat and sun from the main gates of Trinity College.

“This tour ticks every box: intelligent, informative, witty, value for money etc”

My husband (German) and I (Irish) enjoyed a historical walk on Sun Nov 20th. The tour is superb managing to give an excellent overview of Irish history and the development of Ireland as it is today.. The explanations around the emergence of Irish Nationalism and why this was not synonymous with Irish Catholicism are first class. This tour is a must for any visitor to Dublin. In addition we got great tips re what to see and do in and around the venues visited. The best component of the tour is the wit and turn of phrase of the guide. This is as good as it gets!!!
