As this was our first visit to the cemetery, we booked the general history tour. Although we had a large group of over 40, Grainne our guide managed us extremely well and could always be heard. She had a lovely engaging manner and was also very informative and although the tour took nearly 2 hrs - all 4 of us were engaged the whole time. Went to the cafe beforehand and it was very good, clean and reasonably priced. The museum also was worth a 30min viewing. We will certainly return to the cafe and cemetery to visit other sections Grainne mentioned but we didn’t get time to see.

We used the Hop on Hop off trolley to visit. We had a difficult time finding the Gravedigger Pub. We should have done the tour. The headstones were fun to look at and read. Nice coffee shop and good chocolate cake.

Our guide Niall was good but the size of the group lengthened the time it took. Interesting though and you learn a lot of facts and history.

Beauty everywhere. Glasnevin has some of the most awe inspiring headstones we've ever seen. The tours truly are "To die for"

Cemetery is so well looked after, it is immaculate! Attended the museum and sat through the screen/audio information. Most interesting and I would recommend this if you intend to walk around the place.
