I think this place offers good value for very central Dublin. A very confusing and old building but that's all part of the charm. The breakfast is continental but they will do you porridge. Friendly staff, seems popukar with youngish travellers from all over thevworld.

Stayed there this summer. It was an okay place. The location was not too bad. Just down the road from a nice park and some shopping. We booked a room with two beds and ended up having for beds in there. Seem more like a dormitory-style room that we were in. Did not have any air conditioning which would have been nice. Other than that the room was okay. WiFi was spotty. Would probably look for something a little bit more updated the next time. But not a bad place for younger people. It did seem like the other people staying there or more businessmen.

Would not stay again, we paid €85 for a room that didn't even come with amenities like soap or shampoo.. the room was dated, paint chipped from walls and when entering hotel there was burnt out bulbs in light fixtures in main reception - a good inch of dust and dead bugs in that main light fixture as well, let alone water damage on the roof .. makes you worry about how clean the rest of it is.. for how much you are charged it is not worth the price. The rooms are made to look nice and they looked nothing like the picture besides the one pillow cover that looks like it had not been washed for 2 years.

The reviews are not as bad as people make out- yes the hotel could do with some upgrades, some new batteries in the remote etc, but there was no problem for a two night stay. Staff were friendly, I personally had no noise from the outside and breakfast was quite pleasant. Only stayed for 2 nights but got a decent nights sleep both nights.

Ok this is a difficult review to write. The building is in desperate need of some TLC..hence the three stars.
However the staff were amazing, very friendly polite and helpful.
The location was excellent for the part of town we needed to visit, Stephen's green area.
The breakfast was given to us complimentary, but would have been worth the €5, lots to choose from and good quality.
Lots of stairs and no lift, this is an old Georgian townhouse. This was fine for us,7 flights to our room on the top floor, but may be an issue for some.
For the staff I'd love to give this place 5 stars, but the rooms and furniture really do let the place down. The rooms although very dated, were clean.
