Ordinary. Noisy from children playing out in the gardens - so don't try to rest before going out. Everything was adequate. The lights in the room were temperamental and the side light didn't work at all. It needs a little tlc but everything was good enough for a quick stay. The breakfast was generous.

Called here late at night as a meeting was suddenly changed to an earlier time. Rang and spoke to Vincent. I was not arriving until 0100am and he was very accommodating. Great price was given. He left a key out for me and gave directions to my room so I wasn't lost in the house. Room was clean and two kit kats were a nice touch. Coffee machine, lots of towels and the bed was nice and comfortable.
Breakfast the next morning was great. Fresh cooked fry and salmon. Highly recommend

Room Tip: I had a view of the garden

Was really surprised not to hear a single Irish voice during our stay and sadly our stay was not noteworthy. Decent room, but a bit shabby and dated. Towels somewhat threadbare (see photo), and no individual soap nor shampoos. Bathroom featured a family sized bottle of body wash. Note, we tried to catch the bus into town and it was nearly 20 minutes late. While certainly not the responsibility of the Belvedere - it didn't make a good impression. The people we met were all very nice, and we enjoyed the breakfast, but would not stay here again.

A very nice building with character. Our room was large with a comfy bed and tea / coffee in the room. Plenty of parking in the grounds. Bus stops for getting into and back from city centre right outside ( 5 - 10 mins ). Nice communal garden to sit outside.

We stayed one night during a tour of Ireland. Belvedere Lodge Is not within walking distance of Cork, but there is plenty of parking on site. The guest house is on a main road and there is an overpass only a few metres away. On arrival we waited about ten minutes before the front door was open, and one of the guests had to let us in. Our room was very large and clean, but a bit dated. We had a lovely view over the garden. Despite the nearby roadways, our room was very quiet. There are not many places to eat nearby and the guest house does not provide evening meals. Breakfast was fantastic and the best feature of the guest house.
