Just returned from a fantastic trip to Cork with a 2 night stay at Tomedjocon. Was greeted upon arrival by the delightful Juliana who showed us to our room and explained all that we needed to know about our accommodation. The room was a family room for 3 people and was a good size with an en-suite bathroom complete with plenty of towels. Juliana was always on hand to assist if you had any questions or requests and is very knowledgeable about where to go and what to see in the local area. I couldn't leave a review without mentioning their gorgeous 1 year old West Highland Terrier (Scottie) who can usually be found scampering around outside and was a huge hit without 6 year old daughter. Thanks again Juliana for a great trip, hope to see you again when we next visit the area.

Owners are extremely conscientious in making sure your stay the best it can be. Juliana is very helpful in assisting you in any travel questions touring etc. the full Irish breakfast is amazing and served to perfection. The enquire rooms very quiet large and clean. We arrived later in the evening after a long day of touring and driving there was tea and biscuits available and a fridge for our lunch leftovers. Recommend Tomedjocon

We loved staying at Tomedjocon! It was easy to find according to Juliana's directions on N72 - just make sure you look at the picture of the house ahead of time so you know what you're looking for on the road. There is plenty of space and everything is made of wood and absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. Juliana prepared a superb Irish breakfast for us every morning and accommodated us in every way possible. It's about 45 min from Cork and about 1.5h in Killarney. We wished we could've stayed another couple nights. Couldn't wish for better!

Tomedjocon was the highlight of our stay in Ireland. This bed and breakfast is perfectly located for day trips throughout Southern Ireland. And after a long day touring castles or cities it is perfect to come back to the quiet and charming countryside house. But don't let the rustic setting fool you, the house is modern and comfortable, with excellent rooms, wifi, and sitting areas. Fermion is just a few miles down the road with restaurants and shopping, and you can experience authentic countryside Ireland in Ballyhooly a short walk away. The views are breathtaking, and Julia's hospitality second to none (and I am from the South, and we take that seriously). I can not recommend this highly enough.

“This is Irish hospitality!”

We were walking and passed Tomedjocon as there was no sign with 'B&B'. Juliana jumped in her car and came to pick us up. After a warm shower she arranged that a Chinese take-away brought our diner. The next day we got a great breakfast for free, as she was not able to cook one that morning.

This all beside a good shower, clean and large room, nice bed, briliant view and very nice conversations. So yes: this is real Irish hospitality.
