“Great holiday apartment in an excellent location for exploring the Trossachs”
Reviewed 15 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We’re just back from a great week at this apartment.

The apartment itself was very well equipped and we found it very comfortable for the two of us. It was much more spacious than we had anticipated – it would have been equally suitable for a family of up to four.

It is ideally located a five minute walk or less from the main facilities in Aberfoyle with parking available for a car to the rear and a basement accessible externally which we used to store our bikes.

Dealing with the owner, Linda, was pleasant and straight forward.

Aberfoyle itself was a good location for exploring the Trossachs. Lots of hillwalking to do and plenty of cycling options too. There were a number of options for dining in the village, a few pubs and a handy co-op for daily necessities.

We’d be very happy to use it next time we are looking for accommodation in the area and would be comfortable recommending it to friends.

“Everything I hoped for and more”
Reviewed 10 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This flat was perfect in every way. I was visiting the area for work, so I needed wi-fi which the owner has recently had installed. Beds are comfy (with electric blankets!), everything worked as it should and it was a terrific location for getting around to all the places I needed to be. Decor is modern, and the kitchen had everything I needed. (I had a notion for veggie sausages and mash one night, and was delighted to discover a potato masher in the drawer). The owner had left milk in the fridge for an immediate cuppa on arrival, and a very lovely bottle of red wine (my favourite) and some biscuits. Best of all, I was able to take my dog. I spend a lot of time on the road, and can rarely have my pet with me, so this was an added bonus, as was the treat left for him by the owner. Very thoughtful.

It wouldn't be the same without the dog would it? I'm glad it worked out well for you. Maybe next time you can come back for a holiday and take in the sights. Thanks for your great review.

“Great hospitality”
Reviewed 1 October 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Had a wonderful stay in Aberfoyle. A cozy flat, and very well stocked with everything you need and more. A home away from home. The owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.
The flat is in the center of Aberfoyle and we loved being able to walk everywhere and enjoy good food close by as well as shopping.
A beautiful area to explore yet close enough to travel to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Don't forget your camera!

This was a great wee place to stay !Very convenient for main st Aberfoyle and had a lovely back garden to sit in with friendly neigbours. The owner Linda was very accommodating and left us sparkling wine / teabags and milk and sent us a congrats card for our wedding in Aberfoyle !

“Perfect little hide away”

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment is walking distance from shops, pubs/restaruants. We had great days out and the apartment is a comfortable and welcoming home to return to after a busy days out. The only complaint (from my teenagers) was there was no wifi.

Thanks for your great comments. This is all very new to us and we are now realising that teenagers can't do without their wifi. This is something we will have to consider in the near future. We are just about to purchase a big TV for the flat which I'm sure will also go down well with teenagers!
