The cottage, situated a short distance from Pitlochry town centre, is perfect for any visit to The Highlands, Cairngorms or even further afield.
Ample parking on a private drive, directly outside the cottage.
The accommodation is exactly what you need. Well stocked with all the amenities you would want for a short break. The cozy bedroom has blackout style curtains, so the room is properly dark. The bathroom is a good size as is the sitting room/diner.
The hosts are friendly and on hand for recommendations and there are plenty of leaflets on local attractions.
If walking up steep hills is an issue (the roads around Pitlochry are quite hilly), you may wish to take your car on the short journey to the town centre.
All in all, we found Elnagar Cottage ideal for our stay, and would not hesitate to recommend it.
We had a very comfortable stay at Elnagar Cottage in the last week in June. If you are looking for a cosy cottage within walking distance of all the local amenities, this would be ideal. There is plenty to see and do in and around Pitlochry, including lots of nice restaurants. The owner Yvonne was very welcoming.
We stayed at Elnagar Cottage for a week in May and had the most wonderful relaxing holiday. Perfect sunny weather every day and lots to do nearby: walks in the woods, hills to climb, great shops and cafes. Yvonne and Dave were very welcoming and the cottage is very well equipped, cozy and sweet. We loved sitting on the bench outside the cottage, watching the sunset. We saw lots of wildlife: birds, deer, butterflies, bees, a lizard, and a hedgehog! Café Calluna was the winner for scones, milkshakes and friendly staff. We would love to return.
Lovely cosy cottage near the centre of Pitlochry. This was an ideal setting for walking around the area and visiting the Pitlochry festival. Cottage very clean and well equipped and some lovely plums and tomatoes from the garden to welcome me. Owners very helpful and friendly and even picked me up from the station.Thank you for a lovely stay
