Many thanks to the staff at the Atholl Villa. Unfortunately we did not make it to Pitlochry due to the 5 day long snowstorm called the Beast from the East. We were driving from York and made it just past Newcastle. All roads and the rail north of Newcastle were closed so we ended up staying in Newcastle. We called the hotel and explained our situation and even though the cancellation deadline had already passed they refunded the full amount. The following day it took us 8 hours to drive 105 miles to Edinburgh. We will make it to Pitlochry one day and we will be staying at the Atholl Villa.

This b/b is absolutely fabulous!! It is so clean and all the little touches sometimes not found in so called 4/5 star hotels . We could not find a speck of dust anywhere. The staff are very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Although you need to order your breakfast the night before, which is not a problem , it was so good , porridge and the haddock , full breakfast without the grease, which is served within a lovely conservatory.
We had room 3 and the bed , huge , was so very comfortable, slept really well.
This b/b is a must if you are in Pitlochry!!!

Stayed 2 nights during the big Scottish weather event. Very nice small hotel, welcoming, friendly staff, clean warm room with comfortable bed and quality linens. A short walk to restaurants and shops. Pitlochry is a lovely little town, easily explored on foot. Great breakfast, very good value for money.

Quite a lovely guest house. Very welcoming, great location for our night at the theatre - 10 mins walk. Very clean room, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. All freshly cooked to your specific order. Would certainly recommend this guest house to anyone looking to stay in Pitlochry. Great value

Stayed 19Feb: Clean, welcoming, comfortable, excellent breakfast and superb value. Lots of information for visitors, centrally located, convenient for shops and eateries, the Theatre and the Station...probably the best B&B I have stayed at.
