Spent two days at the morag cottage ( end of sept), very comfortable stay!
Decent sized room with a washbasin inside the room , the bathroom was not ensure but was attached instead.
The breakfast was awesome - full Scottish and options for seconds of what ever u liked!, Maureen and her husband were very kind and helpful with their atlas and knowledge of the local area, they sent us on a day long trip starting from queens view to a children's park near Perth' .
Can not recommend it enough

I was only here for one night, but it was a great hostel near Loch Ness. We were welcomed with shots of whiskey. The common area has some comfy couches, lots of paper resources for travelers, and toys! Wifi is only available downstairs. The dining area has several tables and a kitchen area if you fancy preparing your own meals. You have the choice of eating the hostel's dinner or making/purchasing your own. Breakfast includes oatmeal, cereal, toast, boiled eggs, tea, etc. and comes at an additional cost to your stay. Across from the dining area is a bar which plays live music sometimes. Lucky for us, there was live music the night we stayed. "The human IPod" is what our tour guide called him - which he very well was. He played a lot of cover songs, as well as his own, with a guitar in hand, harmonica in mouth, and something on each foot. He was really good. The rooms are also comfortable and clean. They're not your typical number rooms - instead, they're named after movies set in Scotland, such as Trainspotting and Shallow Grave [the room in which I stayed]. Our room, a 6 person room, had its own bathroom. Each bunk was equipped with its own outlet and reading light - very neat! The town is only a short 5-minute walk away.

An excellent welcome from Maureen and Jim. Lovely quiet room and bathroom both immaculate.
Breakfast treats whatever you choose, expertly served, prepared and cooked. Both poached and scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Loved the smoked salmon!! Have the creamy porridge to start your busy day healthily.
B & B just out of town on the way to the lake and boathouse, perfect location.
We travelled by train and upon booking we were immediately offered lifts to and from the station if required. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we enjoyed chatting to them.
Came away feeling like a member of the family.
The week passed by too quickly in the exhilarating clean Scottish air.

We made a last minute booking at Morag Cottage, after a change of plan. The proprietors, James and Maureen, were really helpful and friendly both during booking and our stay. They made us feel welcome and were flexible with our arrival and breakfast times in order to suit our needs. The room was impeccably clean and well decorated, with a personal adjoining bathroom which had a great shower and was also spotless. Great facilities, lovely breakfast cooked to your liking, and a special helping of porridge for our Son was a welcome addition. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here, and would happily stay here again.

Lovely, affordable B&B, in a pretty, quiet row, but conveniently located near railway station and town. Lots of options for breakfast (the full Scottish is the business!), with yogurt and fresh fruit featuring cherries and berries a particular standout. Coffee was good, too! Our hosts were friendly and helpful and really pleasant. Recommended!
