I was given a tour plus tasting as a Christmas present from my daughters. The tour was excellent our tour guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting was great fun again with a lot of information on how to get the best experience from your malt whisky.

Did a tour and Taste today, Michaela was out Guide, although the plant was still under Winter Maintenance, She was knowledgeable of the process and explained evert thing fully. As there had been a delay due a false Fire Alarm we were after tasting the Blair Athol 12 yo Single Malt offered a Bells Blended whiskey as compensation for the delay. It would have ben nice to see the plant in operation, maybe next visit to Scotland.

Visited here as part of a Scottish road trip. Quite disappointed actually, even for allowing for the fact that there was a bit of updating going on. This distillery buys it's mash in and as a result there is no atmosphere. We went to the Oban distillery not long ago and was steamy and heady, not here though. Quite sterile. Our guide was knowledgeable about the distillery, but not about the process of distillation itself. Could not explain why old casks were used in the process and said the pre used casks did not influence the taste or aroma/colour of the whisky. Rubbish. To be honest, one to be avoided.

We visited on a Sunday and were told the distillery tour was free as it was ‘silent season’. The tour was still really good and we got a dram of whisky at the end.

Michaela, our tour guide, was really good and knowledgeable about the distillery and other distilleries in Scotland.

I would recommend a trip here if you visit or are passing through Pitlochry!

The barman was also a good laugh and chatted us through various different whiskies.

We did the distillery tour on 29th March, Paul our guide was great, there was nothing he did not know, we have been to many distilleries and we were given more information here than an other in Scotland.
