“Beautiful views from every window, sunny and comfortable”

The owner gave us a very warm, personal welcome. My husband has Parkinson's disease so I particularly appreciated the way she assisted us with our bags and helped us settle in after our long journey from Perth, Western Australia!

We were very fortunate with the weather during our stay at Riverside Apartment, and it was enjoyable to sit in the sunshine every morning having our breakfast, gazing out on the beautiful River Tay and hills beyond.

The apartment is very spacious and attractive, with plenty of storage space and a very comfortable bed. We found the shower particularly good, and the kitchen extremely well-equipped.

It was a great advantage for us, not having a car, to be so centrally located. We were able to reach Marks & Spencer and other useful shops with ease, and it was a level walk to all the central city attractions and several lovely parks.

Liked best: The warm welcome on arrival, and the VIEWS.
Liked least: There was no lift due to it being a listed building, so not ideal for a person who finds stairs difficult.

We were met by Marie who was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. She also suggested days out and things to do. Such a treat to wake up every morning to look out at the River Tay with the sun over Kinoull Hill on the opposite bank. Everything we needed was in the apartment. A very nice restaurant, No. 63, just below which we used on the last evening - but glad we booked as they are very popular - lovely food! Went on lots of trips and walks. Caught the train to Inverness - only 2 hours and a great journey. All in all would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

“Absolutely stunning!”

This apartment is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. To start with, we were greeted, after a long journey from far away Barcelona, by the owner, Mrs. Marie Kinoch, who is such a lovely lady. She showed us around the apartment, which was ever so cozy, and let us some beautiful fresh flowers and some homemade delicious bread. Such a treat!
The noise outside can be sometimes quite loud if it is rush-hour, but to tell you the truth, we were usually away for the day, so at night it is very pleasant.
The view... oh the view I will always remember! I took so many photographs! The river Tay flows just beneath the apartment and the hills on the other side are beautiful. It was so relaxing!
The structure of the apartment is very nice. Kitchen and dining-area are together and then there is this wonderful lounge, with such an incredibly comfortable armchair! To tell you the truth, it is by far, the most comfortable armchair I have ever sat on!
Both towels, plenty of them by the way, and bed linen were of the best quality, so all in all it is an apartment I would not only recommend but certainly go back to!
Thank you Marie, for allowing me to spend such wonderful holidays which I will always remember!

Firstly booking this apartment could not have been more easy, and on arrival it certainly had the wow factor both outside and in,my wife and my self found the location of the apartment very central to all amenities. The view from all rooms where spectacular and breakfast took longer than usual, the river Tay is a show stopper,We kept our windows open the whole two weeks we stayed, and at busy times street noise could be herd but once everyone beat the rush hour it settled down to low din, this did not take anything away from our stay.We found this to be a very clean and easy apartment to use and would have no problem recommending to anyone.
