Ate here last night with an itison voucher and the restaurant had also been recommended by a friend. There were positives and negatives to the night. On the positive side the food was delicious. The poppadoms were nice and crunchy, the chicken tikka jalfrezi was really fresh and very tasty and the naan was warm and light. Only downside of the food was the small portions. Unfortunately the overall experience of eating here was let down though by the poor atmosphere and tired look of the place. There is paint peeling off the walls, no music playing and the lady serving could really make more effort to be more welcoming. Unlikely to return to eat in the restaurant but would probably get a takeaway.

Great little restaurant on Tay Street. We ordered a selection of curries and was impressed with them all. The Onion Bhajis were probably the best I've ever had and the chicken vindaloo did not disappoint. My children had the korma and the tikka masala. Will definitely return.

This chef really can cook. Not the first time we have eaten here and they never fail to deliver.
The food at Desi Lazeez is as good as it gets. We love it.
Could not recommend any less than 5 star.
Incidentally, they are also very nice people.

Good food and welcoming but it was Sunday night and early so hardly any customers. Starter was Prawns in butter and garlic which was fine but not outstanding. Main course was a hot chicken dish from Bengal. Very tasty, but could have been hotter. One of the specialities is fresh homecooked Indian recipes. Which is good.
Downsides, price of drinks, overall meal & drinks was £31 per head. Would have got 4 stars but the place was freezing. I may go back to try some other dishes. Definitely one of the better restaurants of its type in Perth.
