This hotel is the best I have stayed at for value for money. The rooms and comfortable and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is an absolute gem, and the hotel is very dog friendly. The location is a bit remote but it is in a beautiful location outside Perth racecourse, and is ideal for visiting Perthshire and Angus. The restaurant is superb; the menu is varied and includes such rare gems as Wild Boar shank, and Venison and maple Syrup burger, and the Haggis Mash is to die for. All the food is top quality and very well presented. Fantastic service as well. The breakfasts are superb as well, and apart from an excellent full Scottish there are also gems such as Eggs Benedict and Smoked Haddock and poached eggs. The staff cannot do enough for you and I will definately be staying here again. One of best hotels I have ever stayed in.

We arrived on Friday 31st August to a warm and friendly welcome from Natasha.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. Although the 2 single mattress together to make the double bed did disappoint me.
On Saturday we picked up our puppy and the welcome she got was great from staff. We were so impressed with how we could eat in the bar area with our puppy on the floor beside us.
We will definitely be back.

Booked at short notice and given disabled access room although not requested. Not an issue as wife has MS and had injured her back so in fact helpful under the circumstances. I don't think there is a lift in the building, however. The disabled shower/toilet could do with a shelf above the sink for putting toiletries on, as could the shower. Minor issues and may not apply to standard rooms.
Otherwise good spacious clean room with tea making facilities and hair dryer. Very limited choice on the TV but lets face it , thats not why anyones is there.
The restaurant was excellent for evening meals with good menu and clearly a chef who knows how to cook. Far removed from usual beefeater fare and would strongly recommend eating there at least once. Also has a small bar on site.
Overall great value in what is a budget hotel and included breakfast.
As good as if not better than any Premier Inn or Travelodge

We stayed a night and we were treated well. Our room was clean, light and airy. The food served at dinner and breakfast was good. Location is wonderfully quiet and restful.

Also the staff were incredibly helpful , even late at night they went out of their way to help us when we need to make contact back home (Australia).

Couldn’t ask for better!
