My friend and I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The chalet is spotless, well-equipped and in a beautiful setting. Roberta and Gordon made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was lovely to be staying on a busy working farm and enjoyed watching Brewster the Border Collie working hard to muster the cows for milking every morning. In the field adjacent to the chalet are Treacle, the Shetland pony, Molly and old gentle mare and a fully grown sheep - one that didn't get away and is kept as a pet! It's a magical place and we really look forward to returning to Cromlet Farm soon.

Had a lovely weekend with our daughter and two grandchildren. Nothing was a problem to the owners, hot tub and pet sheep was enough to keep the children occupied at night. Central location for lots of places to take the kids
We loved our stay at Cromlet Farm Chalet... The location is perfect for a family with loads of things to do locally; we took the kids to the theme park at Strathclyde Country Park, to a great waterpark called "time capsule" in
Coatbridge, we went on some beautiful walks one of which being New Lanark a world heritage centre with absolutely beautiful views, a breathtaking place. We went to Edinburgh Zoo and saw the Giant Pandas, and to the beautiful Loch Lomond... All of these places were no distance from the accomodation and thus it didn't kill us doing it with four kids... On our return we could relax in the hot tub over looking the fields... We loved the fact it's based on a working dairy farm and being able to show the kids the lambs, the cows, and even the bull (jane) made it an even better holiday. After taking the kids all over the local area nothing we did made them smile as much as their ride in the tractor and the farm quad!!!! Roberta, Gordon and little James are wonderful people and we will no doubt visit again soon.
Myself and and 4 friends stayed for 2 nights , nothing was too much trouble for the owners and would definitely stay again
