“An idyllic holiday destination”
Reviewed 31 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Our extended family have just returned from a magic week at Ar Fasgadh. This is a perfect holiday lodge in a most beautiful setting. The lodge is super comfortable, with every possible thing you could need- all done in a very stylish manner. Both adults and children alike found it a perfect place to stay. We were all delighted to watch the red squirrels each morning and afternoon, devouring the contents of the feeding box from the lovely decks around the lodge.
It was an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Isle of Arran.
We took advantage of the information books and brochures in the lodge and saw as much as we could of the island in one week. The walk books were particularly helpful as we tried to work our way through as many of the "40 Walks Around Arran".
It was a magical week and As Fasgadh Lodge was a true home away from home.
Ten out of ten to the owners - cannot fault the lodge, Thankyou!

“Ar Fasgadh has it all”
Reviewed 31 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

From the moment you walk in the door it is clear this is more than your average holiday let, this is a home from home. The lodge is so well appointed you will want for nothing. The perfect base from which to explore the Isle of Arran. You can explore the North or South of the island with ease, but also enjoy a rural location. Our girls (13,11,11) enjoyed everything from watching the red squirrels feasting on the nuts (supplied) right outside the window, to playing the wii on wet afternoons or making use of the information supplied by Gerry and Susan to find walks and other activities to keep the girls active and interested. We look forward to coming back soon.

“Perfect lodge”
Reviewed 17 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Just returned from Ar Fasgadh the property is everything and more. Peaceful location with lovely views and within easy reach of Blackwaterfoot and amenities. We travelled with a six year old and their was plenty to keep him occupied. Great service from Gerry and Susan. We hope to return in the future.

“great attention to detail by the owners allowing you to concentrate on enjoying your holiday”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We had a great stay at the holiday lodge at Torbeg. As soon as you arrive the attention to detail which the owners take in maintaining and preparing the lodge is noticeable. The lodge has everything you need for a great holiday and at the same time nothing that you don't! It is spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. It provided us with a perfect base from which to enjoy our holiday in Arran. We would definitely book again. Thank you!

“Brilliant week in a lovely holiday home”
Reviewed 16 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a wonderful time staying at Ar Fasgadh holiday lodge. The lodge is lovely. It's really well-equipped and comfortable - including all sorts of useful guides, maps, books, games - and we enjoyed a very warm welcome from the owners. I would thoroughly recommend it. It's in a very peaceful spot. There is also plenty of space for kids to run around.

The lodge is just a mile from Blackwaterfoot which is a village on the south-west side of Arran with a nice beach and amenities including shops, places to eat/drink and a hotel with a swimming pool.

We enjoyed a week of incredible weather (rare on Arran!) and went cycling, played tennis at Machrie, swam at the beach, walked in the mountains, played in the mountain streams, and many other things besides. It was the best holiday we've had in ages!
