We were so lucky to secure a reservation at this very popular bistro. Recommended very highly from the owner of our hotel in Pitlochry, we emailed right away. A prompt response was received and we landed a 5:45 reservation. Although we were a bit concerned about the early time, it ended suiting us perfectly. We were told the table was ours "until 7:40" which is not uncommon at many of the restaurants here. However, we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to savor the delicious foods! Between 5:45 and 6:45, they offer a special price, 2 course menu and the selections were varied! My linguine with pancetta as a starter could've easily been my whole meal! My husband loved his spiced sweet potato soup! I loved my sea bream and shrimp on risotto and my husband said the roast hake with chorizo and soft poached egg was amazing! With all this food we still found room to share the sticky toffee pudding with pecans and vanilla ice cream for dessert! The entire staff, as well as the owner, made us feel so welcome and appreciated, with many of them spending time in conversation with us. Special thanks to the owner for making our anniversary celebration so very special!!
