Top five reasons why we loved our stay at Jim and Susan's Inverglen Guest House:

5. Great location on a quiet street but just a quick walk to the center of Inverness.

4. Beautiful home with spacious guest rooms and baths, plenty of closet and drawer space so you can unpack.

3. Friendly and welcoming hosts who provide excellent first hand recommendations for restaurants, help with directions and who truly want you to enjoy your visit to Inverness.

2. Delicious cooked to order breakfasts each morning, served with yummy home baked breads and muffins. (They even provided us with a wonderful take away breakfast on a day in which we had to set out early)

1. FANTASTIC water pressure in the shower!

Hi there

Thanks so much for your lovely review, and for highlighting your top 5 reasons for staying with us. We always love it when people notice our water pressure, as the hot water system was the first thing we invested in when we moved into our home 6 years ago!

We hope to see you again if you ever return to Inverness, Kind regards, Susan & John

A great place to stay. Centrally located but in a quiet street. Within walking distance to all the best restaurants. Genuine warmth and helpful advice from Susan and John. Comfortable room and lots of care taken with decor. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: A great place to stay with a warm welcome and lots of advice on restaurants and things to do.

Loved my short time at Inverglen Guest House! John and Susan were wonderful, food was scrumptious and my room was wonderful with even 2 gluten free shortbread in my room waiting for me after my long trek.

We stayed for 2 nights in March and found everything about Inverglen faultless. The guest house is comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Home made produce made breakfast something to really look forward to and the we certainly enjoyed the homemade shortbread in our room when we arrived back after a day out! However, the 'stars of the show' were undoubtedly John and Susan who could not to enough to make us feel welcome - what a brilliant hosts they are! Thank you for letting us spend the time with you.

We spent four nights at Inverglen and could not have been treated nicer. John and Susan made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was amazing!! Susan's cheesy eggs and her homemade breads were delicious each morning. We will stay here again when we return! Susan even did our laundry for us one day!

Hi there

Thanks so much for your kind review and we are both so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us so much. The cheesy scrambled eggs are a great favourite with our guests and often ask for the secret! I don't really have one, except that our free range eggs are all really fresh, and we have them delivered weekly straight from the hens who live on a farm overlooking the Moray Firth.

We'd love to see you again if you return to Inverness in the future. Kind regards, Susan & John
