Off the beaten path is an understatement. When we drove here from our B&B down the road, we took a few wrong turns, one into a cemetery, and the other into some abandoned farm. A little spooky. We eventually found the sign for the Country House Hotel, and took a windy gravel road to the parking lot, which was pretty empty. Debated just turning around and making a run for it, but I'm glad we didn't!!

We arrived and were greeted right away. We had a few drinks while we waited for our food in the living room area with the fireplace. Once the food was ready, we entered the dining area, and the food was great. A very different dining experience than what we're used to - but it was cool, and something we'd definitely do again when/if we ever are back that way.

After attending a service at the nearby crematorium we were invited to the Loch Ness Country House Hotel for refreshments. On arrival the hotel looks beautiful and set in stunning gardens . The buffet supplied was way beyond ample and was very tasty. All staff seemed very pleasant . And some of the guests who were staying overnight said their rooms were lovely , 4 poster beds etc !!
The ambience seemed to alleviate the very sad occasion we were attending.

Traveled during end of the season, very relaxed stay with friends. Rooms are lovely, relaxing and employees are nice and helpful. Beautiful setting, our room view was of the back field, sheep and sky. Wonderful mature flowers and plants surround the house/inn.

Breakfast and dining options, onsite, were amazing. Stay in after diner for a nice after dinner drink.

Really enjoyed the area and this location. Wish we could have stayed longer. A great place to sit and relax.

Room Tip: Loved our room and view of the farmers field.

The property is great. The grounds are so enjoyable. The location is convenient and quiet. We had drinks and relaxed by the fire, which was great. The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean. The room could use some updating possibly, even though there is charm in the original fixtures.
