“Central, cosy and comfortable..”

Brilliantly central base for all activities in the surrounding area. High street, restaurants, shops and local superstore within 5 minutes walk. Lovely nature walks just behind- easily accessible and great for kids to explore. We enjoyed our stay so much that our children (aged 7 and 2) made it very clear they did not want to leave to go home!! Owner was very accommodating in regards to arrival and leaving times as well. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

“Not quite as expected”

Sadly, we were very disappointed with the flat. The stairwell reminded my children of a car park stairwell, smelly! The flat, though an OK size was not very clean. The decor is dated and not very clean. The kitchen was adequate but the lino on top of the carpet tiles doesn't look good. The bathroom was a bit uugh. The shower curtain was stained and there was horrendous black mould between the shower screen and the boxed in area. There were lots of plastic flowers and nic nacs in the flat all of which were dusty and, to be quite frank, not necessary. The use of feather filled cushions, pillows, duvets etc. is fine, but I would dread to have any type of allergy. I tried to use the hoover on one occasion but it caused more dirt and fluff to be produced than it actually picked up. This was a last minute booking and as such beggars can't be choosers, but I have stayed in far superior properties in Aviemore over the years and for a similar price. I would not stay here again. Sorry.
